12 Years ago I experienced what I like to describe as a powerful call to action.
It happened on a beautiful blue-sky tropical day in Bali where I was with my husband for a long weekend get-away. We were staying in a decadent suite at the Oberoi, a gorgeous property with lush tropical gardens and frangipani trees and we had just come back from breakfast. We had a full day ahead of us and so many exciting things to do, yet all I could think about was going back to sleep.
I had been struggling for a while with extremely low energy levels, muscle aches, digestion all over the place, mood swings, brain fog and skin issues. I was frustrated at the inability to resolve these issues, despite seeing all kinds of doctors, eating healthy, practicing yoga and I was worried too: what if there was something seriously wrong with me?
As I crawled back into bed that day in the middle of the morning in beautiful Bali, feeling upset, frustrated and worried, I decided that enough was enough and that I would do everything I could to resolve my health issues.
I was called to action by the realisation that this was not how I wanted to go through life. I wanted energy, clarity, positivity, to feel great, to look good, to enjoy life to the fullest, to THRIVE!
When we got back home, after that disappointing holiday, I began a desperate search for answers and, since conventional medicine had not been able to help, I focused on a more holistic approach, using nutrition as a foundation for healing.
Today, after years of studying health & nutrition, I can say with passion and conviction to everyone who is dealing with frustrating health issues and who is willing to listen: it does not have to be this way. It is possible to turn things around and to start experiencing vibrant health holistically.
You can feel good in your body again and use renewed levels of energy to do great things with your life. To travel, start new projects, find your passion, boost your career, relationships and much more! I know because I managed to do all of this through the power of food and lifestyle changes and I have helped so many clients do the same.
Believe me, I get the frustration, the information overload that has you feeling utterly confused, the fear around having to give up feel-good foods and letting go of certain habits, the time constraints, the responsibilities, the procrastination. I have been there too!
Don’t let these feelings and fears stop you from making the most of your life.
Instead, think about your dreams, your vision for yourself. Where do you see yourself 1, 5 or 10 years from now? How do you want to feel? Why is this important to you? What will your life look and feel like? What could be holding you back? Then use these reflections to generate a powerful call to action, just like I did that day in Bali. It’s the most important first step on your journey of self-transformation.
And remember I am here to help. If you want a tried and tested, step-by-step process and support to revamp your health, I invite you to sign up for a free Nutrition Breakthrough Session here so that we can discuss my approach and how it could work for you.
Be Well.
