I am a happy camper… I have my Vitamix Blender back! Super smoothies in a flash! It is the only piece of electrical kitchen equipment that made it from the US to India and it required a transformer as big as the blender itself which is occupying way too much kitchen counter space but it is worth it. This morning, post my yoga session, I whipped up a super green smoothie and I felt the delicious goodness, minerals and vitamins, chlorophyll and healthy fats shooting straight to my cells. Instant energy boost.. How I love my blender..
(serves 1)
Ingredients:
- 1 cucumber, cut into pieces
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 pear
- handful of micro greens (I used sunflower greens but you can use any green leafy vegetable)
- 6 soaked and peeled almonds
- 1 cup fresh coconut water
- 1 tsp of VitaMineral Green Powder (or any other green powder) – for an extra nutritional punch
Preparation:
- Put everything into your high-power blender and blend at high speed (even if you don’t have a Vitamix, although you might end up with a less “smooth” smoothie)
- Prepare to feel great
