How healthy is your gut?

Today’s message to you is clear and simple.

No matter what health issue is holding you back from living your most optimal global life, it can be connected back to the health of your gut.

And if your well-being is important to you, this should be great news. Because you can, essentially, stop trying to figure out what’s wrong and get right to dealing with the underlying root cause.

You can stop asking why you’re feeling tired, old, or negative, bloated, hormonal, foggy, sensitive to foods, allergic or achey.

Instead, you can begin to consider how to use the power of food to help heal your gut and rebalance your microbiome.

Because healing your digestive system will create a powerful ripple effect on your entire wellbeing.

“When health is absent, wisdom cannot reveal itself, art cannot manifest, strength cannot fight, wealth becomes useless, and intelligence cannot be applied” said Herophilus, the ancient Greek physician and father of anatomy.

Here is what you need to bring optimal health back:

  • A short term detox, which eliminates foods that are keeping the digestive tract inflamed.
  • A nutrient dense, healing diet that helps to nourish the intestinal mucosal barrier back to health.
  • Plenty of pro- and prebiotic rich foods that help support your inner ecosystem, aka the microbiome.
  • A couple of powerful lifestyle practices that help support and nail down these efforts.

Nearly 2500 years ago, Hipprocates made the powerful statement that “all disease begins in the gut”.

Let’s embrace that wise old statement and get back to feeling vibrant and able to make the absolute most of our wonderful lives.
