Liver Lover Smoothie

Don’t you just love the color?! This bright and cheerful smoothie has anti-inflammatory and liver boosting properties. Plus it tastes delicious.

Ingredients:

(serves 2)

  • 1 pear, chopped
  • 1/2 avocado, chopped
  • 1/2 cucumber (organic, skin on), chopped
  • 1/2 beetroot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup packed romaine lettuce
  • small piece of fresh ginger root
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 tbsp high quality protein powder
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds

Preparation:

  • Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth
  • Drink slowly and don’t forget to “chew” your smoothie (helps optimize digestion)
