Don’t you just love the color?! This bright and cheerful smoothie has anti-inflammatory and liver boosting properties. Plus it tastes delicious.
Ingredients:
(serves 2)
- 1 pear, chopped
- 1/2 avocado, chopped
- 1/2 cucumber (organic, skin on), chopped
- 1/2 beetroot, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup packed romaine lettuce
- small piece of fresh ginger root
- 1 cup coconut water
- 2 tbsp high quality protein powder
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
Preparation:
- Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth
- Drink slowly and don’t forget to “chew” your smoothie (helps optimize digestion)
