Strawberries are in season here in Mumbai and so are guavas and together they are the key ingredients of this tasty, seasonal smoothie that, combined with nutrient-dense baby spinach delivers a solid dose of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants.
Ingredients:
(makes 2 smoothies)
- 1 small guava, chopped
- 5 strawberries
- 1 banana
- a large handful of baby spinach
- 8 soaked, peeled almonds (alternatively you can use almond milk instead of water)
- 1 1/2 cups of water
Preparation:
- Place all the ingredients in a blender
- Blend until smooth
- Pour into tall glasses and enjoy!
