Sweet Potato Fries

These delicious sweet potato fries make a healthy, “sweet tooth”- satisfying snack (or side dish). You are going to love them and so will your kids! Which is great because sweet potatoes are very nutritious with plenty of vitamins and minerals and they are a great source of fiber.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium size sweet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius
  • Peel the potatoes, cut into wedges or sticks, depending on your preference
  • Place in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients and toss well
  • Spread out the wedges on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, tossing once in between
  • Allow to cool slightly, sprinkle with some more salt and cumin powder (if you like) and tuck in!
